Te Atatu Association Football Club was established in 1963 and is based in Te Atatu Peninsula Auckland.
We have a growing membership base of 500, with players from five years of age through to men’s and women’s senior football teams. Our membership base is drawn from Te Atatu, Massey, and Henderson in the west, to Pt Chevalier and Mt Albert in Central Auckland.
The club embraces the New Zealand Football “Whole of Football” plan through our program which has 180 youngsters participating aged from five years to eight years. The introduction of Whole of Football has proved very popular with parents and children alike.
Te Atatu Association Football Club is a club run by a small group of volunteers. We are all enthusiastic and devote as much of our own time to the club as possible. However, all Executive Members have their own full time employment and family activities to fit in around the football club.
As part of our development we were recently awarded the New Zealand Football Quality Club Mark Bronze Award.
The Quality Club Mark programme – delivered in partnership with clubs, Northern Football, New Zealand Football and Sport Waitakere – supports and develops the ability of clubs to adopt and deliver standards of best practice across all areas of their operation.
Te Atatu Association Football Club is known as a club with a warm and welcoming environment and we offer opportunities to youngsters to play football at all levels and provide a pathway through into senior football through our development program for those that wish to play at the highest level. We also ensure that others that play sport for the enjoyment of doing so are also assured of a team in which to play at our club. The club has a no exceptions policy and offers opportunities for everyone.
One of the main objectives of the club is to have more people from the local community and surrounding areas playing football for fun and fitness at Te Atatu Association Football Club.
